Julie Merkt, VMD MS

Veterinarian

Dr. Merkt was born and raised in New Jersey and attended Ursinus as an undergraduate in Pennsylvania. Prior to veterinary school, she attained a master’s degree in laboratory animal science from Drexel’s College of Medicine. In Philadelphia, she attended the University of Pennsylvania for her veterinary degree and practiced in the area for three years before her move to Fort Wayne. She loves exotic pets, and currently has a leopard gecko named Desdemona, who oversee her cooking hobby.
